Please reach us at admin@rosanerotattoostudio.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.
The simple answer is, yes it does… However, this does depend on each individual person. After a short period of time, your body releases endorphins. They kick in and make things much more manageable. How long these endorphins last usually defines your natural limit as to how long a tattoo session you can handle.
We certainly can! Our artists can do ballpark quotes via email based on basic info, and will do a proper set quote after a consult with you. This is based on the hourly rate for how long we expect it to take based on our experience .
If on the day it takes longer than expected, we may add on extra charges for the time taken, but will always give you a heads up if that looks likely to occur. It doesn't happen often!
This absolutely varies with size and amount of detail involved. It’s very hard to put an exact price on a tattoo design until it is finalised, If you would like to send us a message with your tattoo ideas, any reference photos, approximate size and placement of the piece we will do our best to give you the most accurate quote. We do require a deposit at the time of booking to secure the appointment time and date. This deposit is non-refundable, and goes towards the cost of the full piece at the end of the session. When it comes to tattooing you get what you pay for. Do not expect a good artist to come cheap. And if that’s the way you choose to go, you could end up spending a great deal more further down the line, when you have to pay for a cover-up or laser tattoo removal. Don’t settle just because you are impatient to get some ink, this decision will be with you for a lifetime.
Yes we absolutely do, however you must tell us prior to making the booking as the deposit is due the day before your appointment. No deposit - No Ink!
We take your tattoo seriously and go above and beyond to put loads of research, time (and of course love!) into each design. Our artists bring a level of professional artistic skill and design knowledge as well, adding to the level of quality you receive.
Our hourly rates haven't changed in years, so the addition of a small design fee allows us to keep doing the standard of work we love to do.
No. It is against the law to tattoo anybody under the age of 18 years in Queensland. Current photo identification will be required.
As a general rule, we won’t tattoo your hands or neck unless you are VERY heavily tattooed already. We respect your right to have any part of your body tattooed with whatever you want tattooed, and ask that you respect our right to choose what we tattoo and where.
We work by appointment but gladly accept walk-ins if our schedule allows. If you don’t have an appointment we do recommend calling ahead to check availability. If you are seeking larger work, we always start with an initial consultation prior to the date of the tattoo in order to fully establish design requirements, location, restrictions etc.
A consultation appointment is time spent with a tattoo artist to plan your next piece. This is usually done specifically for custom tattoos. You’ll talk about design details, placement, colours, budget, and more, then figure out a day and time for the actual tattoo appointment that suits both your schedules.
Yes, tattoo consultations are free. We will however ask for a deposit to be put down before scheduling a tattoo appointment. After your tattoo consultation, if you both agree on the design and appointment day/time, the artist will usually ask for a deposit. This is a very common part of how to book a tattoo and it shows the artist you are serious about your commitment.
Appointments for custom tattoos are made after the initial consultation where we take a $100 non-refundable cash deposit. For interstate or overseas customers please contact the store on 0401 534 633 or admin@rosanerotattoostudio.com and we can arrange an appointment time and provide details on how to pay.
No. deposits are non-refundable. If you can’t make your appointment we require at least 48 hours notice by phone or in person, or you will forfeit the deposit. If you don’t show up for your appointment, you forfeit the deposit. If you cancel with more than 48 hours notice, we can roll the deposit over to a new appointment time. Please give us as much notice as possible if you need to cancel. Please note that we do not accept cancellations by Facebook, email, or via messages left on our service outside of hours.
No, we do not. We are a tattoo studio only.
No. We aim to only do tattoos that will hold up well over time. Some areas of the body like the inside of fingers, the bottom of feet and the inside of your lip simply won’t allow that, and for that reason we choose not to tattoo them.
